ABOUT THE BOOK

In His Eyes, the first book by Michael McMillan, spans over fifty years of his life as told through the lyrics from his three solo music albums: Cold and Roofless, Faith to Faith and Meet Me at The Cross.

The lyrics and accompanying photographs graphically depict ‘real’ stories of poverty, homelessness, crime, vengeance, prison, addiction, love, relationships, infidelity and, ultimately, forgiveness, faith and a second chance.

This emotional rollercoaster of life will touch your heart and soul. The stories are real, the people are real, and the second chance is very real.

ENDORSEMENTS

‘Michael’s songs cover a wide range of issues and experiences which cannot fail to move people who share a common love, and will surely encourage those who are themselves struggling. I pray this book will be a blessing to many.’

Graeme Duffin, Wet Wet Wet

‘I had the pleasure of producing Michael’s first solo album Cold and Roofless about ten years ago and it was so evident that he had an amazing gift for lyrics and telling ‘real’ stories through these lyrics.’

Fraser Spiers, musician, record Producer and music Teacher

‘Today, when I listen to Michael’s lyrics they hit the strings of my heart and I find his music truly uplifting.’

Mike Krause, internationally acclaimed martial arts instructor
