Esther Asher describes her heart-breaking experience of being stripped of all humanity, dignity and empathy, as her childhood and innocence were brutally stolen from her. Hers is a difficult but essential story for us to hear and by which to have our hearts changed so that we may join in the fight to end this horrific crime of sex trafficking, which victimises two million children a year, and twenty million adults. Esther's rise from the trauma and pain of her past is a testament to the human spirit and the very real potential for all survivors of human trafficking to regain the lives they were born for. She is a phoenix and inspires us all to help everyone still in bondage to rise with her.
