ABOUT THE BOOK
‘You, Me and the Jacket Potato’ is set within a women’s prison, and is the story or 'you' - a prisoner well known to the system and explains what led her in to prison in the first place. During one of her stays, there is an incident concerning a jacket potato, which reminds her of someone special. This acts as a trigger and throughout the story we see how she and other prisoners manage their triggers. This is not just a story about someone in prison, but one to encourage anybody negotiating their own personal triggers and journeying towards overcoming them.
